The formula for calculating the weight of rebar steel:
W= (D2/162.28)* L
Where ‘D’ and ‘L’ are the diameter and length of the rebar, respectively. Take the value of diameter in mm and length in m. You will get the result in kilograms (kg). After dividing the result by the actual length of the rebar, you can get the weight per meter.

Applications of rebar steel
Rebar steel is a material used to construct structures such as buildings, bridges, dams, RCC roads, and towers. Since the tensile strength of concrete is significantly lower than the compressive strength, it can be used in concrete to increase the tensile strength.
