Factors to consider when choosing flanges DN65 for your project

As Tiger Steel said a lot in previous posts. Flanges in each standard and each pressure level have different specifications. And so is the flange DN65.

To make the right choice, you should note the following points:

1. Dimensions of the flange. Dimensional factors include the number of bolt holes, outside diameter, inside diameter, bolt circle, and bolt hole diameter, but nominal pipe size.
2. Flange thickness. As you can see in the data sheets above, the higher the pressure level, the thicker the flange. Choose the right thickness, the DN65 flange will work stably and safely.
3. Bolt Hole. The actual size of the bolt holes, the pitch circle diameter, and the number of bolt holes on the flange are three factors that need to be taken into account.

4. Production Standard. There are many industry-defined manufacturing standards from which you can choose flanges. Because there are many projects that only accept materials from a specific standard.

5. Pressure level. The pressure class indicates the margin of pressure that the flange can safely operate and maintain. Each standard comes with available pressure levels, from high to low-pressure capacity. The pressure level of the products connected to the flange should be the same as the pressure level of the valve and the pipeline in use.

6. Manufacturing materials. The choice of material for flanges depends on the understanding and application that the elements will be encountered in an application where the piping system is being used. The most common materials include chrome, nickel, carbon steel, duplex steel, stainless steel, and more.
