Design & Appearance
The DN80 stainless steel butterfly valve features a slim, compact design, typical of wafer-type valves (installed between flanges). The entire valve body and disc are made of stainless steel, with a bright metallic finish that is clean and corrosion-resistant. The stainless steel surface is usually polished smooth or satin-finished, giving it a professional appearance and making it easy to clean.
The valve body has 4 alignment lugs (two on the top, two on the bottom), each with a through-hole to align and secure the valve between two pipe flanges using bolts. In addition, the body is embossed with markings such as: material grade (e.g., CF8/CF8M for SS304/316), size (DN80), and pressure rating.
Control mechanisms such as lever handle, gear operator, electric actuator, or pneumatic actuator are mounted directly on the valve stem, ensuring convenient connection and reliable operation of the valve disc.
