In which the foot valve (pump basket) is a combination valve between a spring check valve and a garbage filter, which is installed on the bottom of the pump tanks and reservoirs to help filter garbage.
And prevent backflow when the pump stops working. The cast iron valve operates fully automatically, and is connected to a flanged system.
Structure:
– Leaf valve: round disc is covered with 100% EPDM rubber in accordance with clean water standards
– Valve: manufactured from 304 stainless steel with high durability against rust.
– Filter mesh: manufactured from 304/316 stainless steel, high durability, anti-rust.
Working principle:
The foot valve works like a spring check valve, when the pump operates, the water pressure will push the valve leaf.
The spring is compressed, the valve is in an open state to allow water to enter the system.
The filter mesh works to prevent the particles from entering the system, causing the valve to jam and other accessories leading to water leakage.
