Operating principle of Nicoson steam trap
- When the temperature in the piping system increases, the steam condenses into water and flows down to the steam trap.
- The float will rise when the steam in the trap reaches a certain level.
- The push rod will be raised, causing the discharge port to open and the water to flow out.
- When the water in the trap decreases, the float will fall.
- The push rod will fall, causing the discharge port to close and prevent the steam from flowing out.
