The complex project started in March 2013 with non-refundable ODA capital from China (about 160 million USD).

Construction of the Morodok Techo National Stadium began in 2017. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the project has been delayed several times.

The Morodok Techo National Stadium is designed to resemble a sailing ship and stands 39.9 meters (131 feet) tall, featuring two “prongs” that reach a height of 99 meters (325 feet). The design was inspired by the Khmer Sampeah gesture. Surrounding the stadium is a wide moat, constructed in the Angkorian style. The exterior of the stadium features a motif based on the Rumdul flower (Mitrella mesnyi), which is the national flower of Cambodia.

Sharing the joy with the people of Cambodia, Bao Tin Steel is pleased to participate in the work of supplying steel materials for the construction of the Cambodia National Stadium project.
