V steel, also known as an angle bar, has the characteristic that its two sides are perpendicular to each other. angle bar (V steel ) is the most commonly used rolled steel in structural steel.
Types of Angle Bars
Do you know? There are two types of angle bars on the market.
Those are:
- Angle bars are manufactured according to TCVN 1656:1993 standards. There are symbols as follows: 40x40x4mm regular angled steel, accuracy grade B is recorded as L40x40x4B TCVN 1656:1993.
- An unequal angled bar is manufactured according to TCVN 1657:1993 standard. With a ratio of 2 sides falling about 1:1.5 or 1:2. There are symbols as follows: steel with unequal angles 63x40x4mm, accuracy grade B is recorded as L63x40x4B TCVN 1657:1993.
While angled bar steel has 50 cross-sections from L20x20x3 to L250x250x35. Then the unequal angled bar has up to 72 cross-sections from L30x20x3 to L200x150x25.
